The Google pixel 5 just came out and we are going to review google pixel 5. Google pixel 3 came out in 2018 about two years ago and what’s crazy is that the pixel 3 doesn’t even feel like that old phone. I think Google Pixel 3 is one of the best phone of google ever made. Pricing wise the google pixel 3 is actually about a third of the cost as the google pixel 5.
Let’s talk about the google pixel 5. The google pixel 5 now cost is 700$ to buy brand new . But the pixel 3 cost is about 200$. There are a lot of different between these phones. But the price of google pixel 5 is the reason why we compare it with google pixel 3. The design of google pixel is really fantastic. The google pixel 5 has a 6 inch 1080p 90Hz display. There is no notch ,no big top bezel. It’s a corner to corner screen with simple corner camera cut out as well. It’s really a incredible smooth display. 1080p even for 6 inch display is not bad at all. The google pixel 5 use Qualcomm Snapdragon 765g as chipset.
The downside of google pixel 5 is it’s not a flagship processor. The upside is battery life. The battery got a huge capacity 4080mAh which is enough for daily use. It’s support 18W fast charging. The rear of the pixel 5 which does contain the camera’s looks fantastic. The camera bump is basically flat compare to the competition and in that camera bump is the brand new ultra wide camera that google has put in. There is nothing to say about google pixel’s camera. As always google pixe[‘s camera is far better than others brand. The ultra wide on the pixel 5 does a good job of expressing the photo trying to take.
The Google Pixel 5 used 16megapixel dual camera as it’s main camera. Google pixel using the super zoom technology for zooming. There is also a 8megapixel selfie camera.
The Google pixel 5 isn’t going to be the best phone in this price tag where the Samsung Galaxy s20 cost a thousand dollars. The Samsung Galaxy s20 fe is a little bit more expensive than the Google Pixel 5 but it’s definitely worth and best deal. So pixel 50 is going up against all of these fantastic phone with not flagship specs except the 8gigs of ram, 128gigs storage and camera.
The phone weight is little bit less than the pixel 4 last year came in at 143g. It’s feel solid but not too heavy. It’s about okay for one handed use. Google re-added the rear fingerprint sensor and dropped face unlock. It’s fast and accurate fingerprint sensor you would expect. It’s a 2340×1080 oled display with a decent pixel density actually at 432 pixel per inch.
